From Sea to Shining Sea

A video presentation of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of California. The Grand Lodge, along with the City of Monterey, the California State Parks and Recreation Department, and the Monterey History and Arts Association, join together in this celebration of California's 150th anniversary of joining the Union.

This video records the highlights of the three day celebration of brother Sloat's landing of American Troops at Monterey and the raising of the American Flag, as recreated by over 250 volunteer costumed "recreators"

The video also features the rededication ceremonies of the Masonic Monument at the Monterey Presidio honoring Commodore Sloat and the Keynote Address by Grand Master Allen B. Gresham.
